  • Finger Lakes Wineries

    The Finger Lakes is home to America’s First Wine Trail. Not just the state, but the whole country! In 1983, five wineries banded together to establish the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail and produced the first-ever brochure. This first brochure was audacious – a quote: “The Cayuga Lake Wine Trail offers a variety that is unmatched in wine touring and tasting. Nowhere else will travelers experience such a multitude of premium wines, attractions, comfortable lodging, fine restaurants, friendly people, and splendid scenery.”

  • Watkins Glen State Park

    Located in the Fingers Lake region, this scenic park packs a lot of natural beauty in a small area, including 19 waterfalls, towering cliffs, and gorges. Several hiking trails take you alongside, over, under, and through gorges and behind several waterfalls. Facilities include an Olympic-size swimming pool, picnic tables and pavilions, playgrounds, sports fields, gift shops, food concessions, and a shuttle. Anglers can cast their line in nearby Seneca Lake or Catherine Creek, known for an annual spring run of rainbow trout. More than 300 campsites, suitable for RVs, trailers, and tents and 10 camping cabins, offer plenty of options for staying overnight.

  • Newtown Battefield State Park

    A pretty intense battle took place at Newton Battlefield State Park during the American Revolution and today the parks serene forest and lush hills attract nature lovers and history buffs alike. Don your wool coat (don’t you look dapper) and make like Washington while you explore the areas historical landmarks and key points on the battlefield. There’s also kayaking and canoeing on the Chemung River and fishing for those who want to enjoy the wild side of this sacred piece of land. It’s easy to set up camp here too with cabins and tent sites. Put on your bloomers, head to Newtown and immerse yourself in the areas rich history.

  • Watkins Glen Race Track

    Watkins Glen International, nicknamed "The Glen", is an automobile race track located in the town of Dix just southwest of the village of Watkins Glen, New York, at the southern tip of Seneca Lake.

    Less than 10 minutes down route 414 from our campground is the beautiful little village of Watkins Glen. A very walkable and friendly downtown area with restaurants, shops, bars, and of course the world-famous State Park!
